Change the date/time format in imported Excel/CSV files

How can I change the default date/time format when importing excel/csv files? My dates are formatted MM/DD/YYYY in my excel.

Navigate to your user profile. Under settings, you can change the date format to MM/DD/YYYY. Once saved, all date attributes included those imported will display in the new format.
