Does Semarchy support Inbound through Kafka.

Hi All,


We are trying to see if Kafka topics can be used for inbound integration with Semarchy, from the documentation we can only see Kafka can be used for data notifications.


Please share your thoughts on using Kafka inbound with Semarchy. Appreciate your inputs.

xDM offers 2 APIs to publish data to the hub:

  • SQL API
  • REST API

To publish data using Kafka, you must use a data integration tool such as Semarchy xDI that consumes a Kafka topic and sends data to xDM using one of these APIs.
