Document management limits

 Hello everyone,


We use a Semarchy application to manage a repository of our companies.

Our users would like to be able to attach several PDF documents for each company (evacuation plans, etc.) and we wonder if it is relevant to add them in Semarchy as it is not a document management solution.


Have you ever encountered this case ?

Does Semarchy have a guideline about this and what would be the limits of this solution ?

I can confirm that we will never replace an EDM or a CMS.

It is easy to display the content of an image or a document via its url stored in an attribute: example for our Product retail tutorial: https://www.semarchy.com/tutorials-content/product-retail-demo/#4
