Workflow Action Set Item

I would like to restrict a Workflow Action Set Item by a 'Required Role'.  However, the 'Required Role' field is grayed out.  Is there a way around this?  I don't want everyone to have access to launch the workflow.  I can set the 'Assignee Required Role' on the User Task in the workflow, but it gives a generic error message.  It would be better if I could just restrict the Action Set Item.

Hello Matthew,


You can go to the workflow builder, select the workflow and click on the 'start' event of the workflow, where you can configure the Initiator required role-


So that it will be only visible to the user which have that specific role.
