Looking alternate options for pre integration job SQL Hooks

HI All,


We are trying to do customizations where we wanted to bulk accept and confirm the review suggestions where a master record has only one confirmed golden record as suggestion in the suggested merge group.

Here am trying to update the UM_* table when the job is submitted and a pre job hook and update the confirmedSdPK column with the MDM ID of the confirmed golden part of the suggestion , but Semarchy support mentioned SQL hooks are deprecated and asking to use other options.


Would be really helpful if you can share any alternate  options to achieve this.

I now this topic was handled by our professional services team. To clarify the support for SQL Hooks, here are some bullet points

  • The Support Team supports the syntax of SQL hook command in xDM but they do not support the actual SQL code called from the SQL hook
  • If assistance is needed with the actual SQL code, they would need to request services from the Professional Services Team
  • SQL Hooks continue to be an undocumented feature because we want the use of SQL hooks to be approved by a Semarchy team member.

Thus, you can go with your current approach.
